Day 1: Leather Purse in DEEP TEAL

Day 2: An Ikat Scarf

and not just any scarf...
an Ikat and Pom-Pom cotton Scarf from Gysya

The scarf is handmade of soft organic cotton. I love Gypsya. I have several of their scarves and a queen throw. Actually, you may have seen the throw here in my Christmas home tour. {I had over 30 emails in my inbox asking me where I got this throw that sits on the back of my sofa!}

Gypsya has an Etsy Shop, but they've just launched their own website, too!!!
Hop over to check them out. And if you want to drool, look at their Tribal rugs!

I selected this scarf because it has elements that will continue to be HOT in 2014...Gray Ikat and Pom-Poms.  Ikat, pronounced EEE-COT is a classic, and although it's been heavily saturated on the market, it is timeless. There is a real shift in interiors to embrace Tribal rugs and prints in BOLD color ways, but neutrals like this gray will always stand out.
AND pom-poms you ask? YES. Even mass market retailers like Pottery Barn in the past couple of months have come out with Pom-Pom fringe curtains that AREN'T FOR THE NURSERY or for your Grandma's Bed Spread; THEY CAN BE SOPHISTICATED.
 I love pom-poms- they add a pop of whimsical character and fun to everything.
Here is the scarf in Blue Ikat {winner will receive Light Gray Ikat}

  1. I love pom-poms done the right way! I knitted a great cowl for the holidays last year that I adorned with small pom-poms. It came out great. I love everything about that scarf - could be the one to convert me to a wearer (I just knit them - tons of them!).
